Adult Daughter with life-long ADD/ADHD and CFS

So, I'm new here : )

We recently realized that my daughter has what sounds like a classic case of ADD/ADHD. She's battled with this for her entire adult life, and was diagnosed with CFS at 15 yrs old (1991).

We're desparately seeking someone to test, diagnose, and treat her so she can build a better life. We found that when we lived in Wisconsin, the CFS support group gave us the best information for living with and finding treatment for CFS. So I'm reaching out to the support group for Adult ADD/ADHD for some help--asap, please.

I would really appreciate being able to talk with one or more people here who have some advice on how to find a medical provider who can help us, and hopefully, is covered by AZACCCS. Regardless of coverage, we need to deal with this yesterday : )

Call your insurance company for a list of psychiatrists and primary care physicians in your area that accept your insurance. Doctors treat conditions differently. Unfortunately your doctor will have to start seeing doctors until she finds one that is the right fit. She also needs to see a psychologist or counselor. They can help with coping skills while psychiatrists and pcp's can prescribe medication
