Today I went to see my doctor and after going over my history and diagnosis she decided to try me on Jornay PM 20 mg to start. She feels like the way it is released into the system will cause less side effects for me given i have Panic disorder. Has anyone found this medication helpful and just smoother than others?

Sorry, I did Concerta, another version of long-release methylphenidate. And frankly, nobody else's opinion matters here. Because we all have to find that right med and right dose that works for us.

But your med is a version of Ritalin (methylphenidate) which is one of the major meds for ADHD. I've done quite well on methylphenidate.

Just understand that meds can have side effects, but those usually decline in a few weeks.

Not what you're looking for?
