Hi, I'm relatively new here, I hadn't dared to post something out of fear, until today.
I feel that fear controls me and knowing that I have adhd makes me feel insecure about everything I feel and experience.

Oh sorry to hear about your fear. We're all human. We may have ADHD, but we're people ...
I understand the fear. Many of us here do. (Oddly, for me, my ADHD diagnosis was very freeing; I don't mind sharing my diagnosis with people in comfortable with, but I don't shout it out everywhere.)
We are here to help, encourage, support, and inform each other.
This is a good forum community. The people here are very respectful of each other.
You don't have to open up about anything that you don't want to. Take your time. In hope that you start to get comfortable enough to feel like you can share here. You are among peers.
Honestly in my experience if you look close enough many people could be diagnosed or are with something. Adhd is just part of us. For me it’s probably the route of my success as well as obviously some challenges along the way. I think my life would have been quite boring without it. I really don’t see it as bad thing especially if treated. This group is great and friendly so you have made the right move. Personally I try not to let adhd define me or to obsess over it as you can get sucked into a world where everything revolves around a diagnosis/label. Once treatment in place best to stand back and see the big picture in my view.
