I was wondering if anyone else has had issues with taking Vyvanse and being shaky. I tend to get really shaky hands about 2-3 hours after taking the medication, this is super annoying as I work building miniatures. It kind of feels like I've had a really strong coffee or two. I avoid caffeine until well after I've taken my medication, so I know it's not this. Anyone know why this happens or if there's a way to help it?

Vyvanse & Shaky hands
I don't have experience with medication yet myself - waiting for my appointment on Saturday to hopefully start - but I believe that if you have symptoms like that, it sounds like you should speak to your doctor about adjusting the dose or switching to another medication. Especially as you said, you work with miniatures so it inhibits your ability to do that. Assuming you enjoy that, that's an important side effect to consider since it's really important to your well-being.
If your dose is too high. You may need to pull back down to the next lowest dose to achieve the therapeutic benefits without the jitteriness.
I also understand that ADHD medications don't work for 1 in 5 people. Hopefully that's not the case and you just need to find a different med or a different dose.
Best of luck!
Hi! I currently take Vyvanse. I get shaky when I need to drink more water. I also get an “intense” feeling at its peak similar to what you describe and I don’t like it. I have an appt tomorrow to discuss dosage.
