Does anyone else have or had an issue with major depression after prolonged use? I have been taking it for 5 years now and it has worked wonders for me. But in the last year I have noticed a change in my moods and my thoughts. Everything I think and feel is just so negative and I feel like everyone is out to make sure I get made to feel like a failure. And I honestly do feel that way because I have let this go on for too long. I have had no suicidal thoughts and shutter at the very thought of even attempting to do so. But seems like more and more often I sit at work and feel like I’m always wrong and I just want to leave and never come back. Even if I just need a new job to change my point of view I’m fine with that. But what can I do to ease these negative thoughts and feelings?

Vyvanse Symptoms
May I ask why you think this could be related to the medication? I have been on Vyvanse on and off for about two years now. Despite being on it do you find that you are still letting others down because of your adhd? I would talk to your psychiatrist immediately about this.
See your therapist and psychologist or psychiatrist right away. I have been there. I needed a small dose of an antidepressant. Until then, walk and if you can get out in nature. Blessings to you. Contact your doctors today. You can feel better! Sue
My fiancé and I have discussed it and we both feel like I’ve addressed it and I know when I’m starting to feel down and I can usually just take a breather and I relax. We are getting married in 7 days and then we have our honeymoon the next week after. So I’m going to enjoy it all to the fullest and once we get that done and we’re back to reality I will contact my doctor. My main focus right now is my wedding and how special it will be. I greatly appreciate the advice from both of you!!
I'm on Vyvanse, but I had a history of depression before for starting it. I just start using it but I find my depression although still pretty awful it's not as bad.
Did you suffer from depression before and it's making a return?
I did in high school but I got better once I switched schools. This is new to me. It’s bad enough for me to notice, but not bad enough for me to not have control over it. I know how to address it and, so far, I’ve done really well with not letting it consume me. Other than Vyvanse I try very hard to not take any more meds than I absolutely have to. Where I live the easiest way to get mental help is a pill farm that will just hand you Xanax and send you home. I’m not even gonna set foot in the door.
