Hi this is Shnookie. I live in the Los Angeles area and googled psychiatrists treating patients with ADHD. A number of health care providers names came up. From there U can go to the medical board of whatever state U live in and see if they can provide U any info. Also look for any articles published by any therapists. It might take time to do this as well. Have U spoke to your primary doctor about this. Also contact large universities near where U live to see if they have medical centers and perhaps clinics as well.

My university has one but they make it too hard to get through to actually getting an appointment. I will try my luck again and will also try the other options you’ve suggested. Thanks Shnookie!

Of course. There is also NAMI I believe in all 50 states which is a national mental health hotline and they might have resources. Also contact CHADD, located in MD. That's how I got onto this website they R all about ADHD and have some free webinars as well. There is also cognitive behavior which You might be able to learn on line. My social worker has helped me with this. It helps in many cases. Another thing U can do, but that I don't always do is at lease to tape to the front door of your house, everything that U

need to take with you everyday b4 U leave the house. Now with COVID of course, I dont know if U work on campus or not but that can help as well

A lot of people have recommended the Psychology Today website as a good starting point: psychologytoday.com/us/psyc...

Just type in your city name and it will give you a list of providers in your area
