Hi All,
I am having a tough time focusing on work. I'm a social worker (diagnosis with ADHD) and am used to meeting with my colleague and clients in person. Now that everything is remote, it has been hard to have the motivation. Any suggestions?

Hi there David
Having adhd my self I do find that actually meeting ppl in person stimulates my mind some what.its the whole reading the body language, the lips are moving, words are coming out.
I suspect your mind is not being stimulated enough to get those chemicals moving in your mind.
If your able to go out and meet friends one to one or in a group that may well help.i don’t know what your lock down situation is.
But just meeting with one person, the interaction may just help with the stimulation for your mind
Get out of the house (w/ a good mask and keeping distance) and run or just walk for an hour or you won’t get out of your head all day or all week or longer.
I searched for a gamified app that would get me out of the house. There are many, but I just tried Pokémon Go and it’s really helpful. You have to walk places locally to get the items you need to progress and level up. Try it.
Hi David. Is there anything you can do to re-glitterize the experience to make it more interesting? Something fun, like wearing pokemon under-roos (seeing as no one can see what you're wearing on the bottom half on Zoom.) or you could try dressing up, or changing your office space a little, maybe add a plant or two? little changes can make it more stimulating. Maybe music once in a while? what would you say to a client with this issue?
