Good for you! Thanks so much. Your story is very encouraging
Hello, VanessaBrown~
Welcome to the group!
Wow, you are quite motivated to be going back to school with family to raise. Very impressive.
Did you ever see a doctor for medication, now that you're taking care of yourself and fam?? If not, please do so if you're able. Personally, my life has changed by taking focalin; no more racing mind, much calmer and able to focus.
What about oldest son- any doctor appts, an assessment?? It could help him too, (and you) to begin something.
Other's in this group have also recommended exercise and diets for us ADHD'ers. Working out daily helps me, and maybe would help you too?? Here's a link which may help out; adhd-institute.com/disease-... And if it does NOT show up, it is to the ADHD Institute
Hope this helps you a bit on journey for yourself and son. You are setting an awesome example by NOT letting anything stop you!!!
