I'm 50 & have ADHD didn't realize it til after my kids. My son is 16 and I've known he's had it but now he noticed it. I dont want him to struggle but he shows no interest in addressing it. Any suggestions or tools?

Thank you

Lynnette

I feel the hardest thing for anyone is to accept it. Learn together, accept together. He will come around. Read as much as you can and watch you tube videos. You will be ready when he comes around. Get help for yourself show him nothing to be ashamed of and how he can deal to make life easier. Accepting himself for who he is we have supper powers. Find a support group for him. Find one for yourself. Good Luck.

I agree with jeeplady. He will realize his need when the time comes. You can't force this to happen. Be ready when he comes.
