Anyone else leave things at people's houses and never pick them up again even tho you go there multiple times after and can easily carry them home .For example I recently did some decorating for a friend but when I finished the job I always say I will pick up tools another time but end up leaving there for ages and even making crazy excuses why I can't take them ☺

Leaving things ☺
Leaving things at other peoples' places isn't something I usually deal with because I'm such of a homebody that I don't go many places beyond my s/o's home. I occasionally leave things there, but usually things like a piece of clothing.
For me, I notice things are worse at home. I not only leave things around that could easily be done, but I leave things in wrong places. Or, I'll leave things in my car for days without bringing them in. I'll also not take out the trash, not put clean laundry away, not empty the dishwasher. I think a large part of it is the absent-mindedness that I deal with. Usually when I'm at home it's in the evening after my medication has worn off, so I experience a recurrence of my symptoms and that impacts my productivity and care at home.
So, I can't relate to leaving things elsewhere, but I definitely unnecessarily clutter up my own world.
There are piles of my stuff in my apartment that I don’t take care of even though I want to. Getting something done in the evening? Almost impossible.
All surfaces in bedroom of adhd child#2 is strewn in chaos, but she never loses things.
I am fanatical about tending to my belongings when I go out.
But adhd child#1 lost items almost everywhere she went.
All the time!
