Do you gamble, play cards, or go to a casino for entertainment? For most adults, this is a little bit of harmless fun.

But for some people, it stops being fun and becomes a serious problem. For those affected by ADHD, there's an extra amount of risk. Read "Gambling and ADHD: What to Watch for When Rolling the Dice" at bit.ly/nrcgamble for information why some adults with ADHD need to be cautious.

Has gambling been a problem for you or someone you know? What has been your experience?

Fruit machines were a major addiction for me right up until this year when I managed to kick the habit. I enjoyed the (temporary) state of mind it gave me but the effect it's had on my life has been nothing short of disastrous.

I know that many people are dependent on gambling but I play on it for years but I cannot say that I am dependent. I began with my friend in mami188.com and we played not every day but once a week, after my friend became independent and played every day, but he lost a lot of money. His parents fought with him for a long time and he won this dependence and now he has a good family, house, and work.
