My 11 yo cannot have a smart phone so I am looking for some sort of reasonably priced clock with reminders that can be set. I’ve seen the medication clocks, but those can’t be set for specific reminders like “put on your shoes”. Does anyone know of a good clock to use?
Thank you!

Alpha-numeric pager by wireless provider. Send text messages to his pager SMS email on a re-occurring schedule. Messages can include subject descriptions. The pager can also be set to vibration only--won't distract other students. Pagers should be inexpensive to add to your personal cell plan--few dollars per month.
I assume you're only using this at home? How about an echo dot (Amazon's Alexa) You can give it multiple reminders (Alexa, remind Bobby at 7:30 am to go wait for the bus) and he can even set a timer by simply saying "Alexa set a timer for 10 minutes" if he is supposed to do something like study flash cards for ten minutes or read for 10 minutes or something like that.
I love my Echo--its amazing. Before I would forget things cooking on the stove. Now? Simple with the Echo just like you mentioned. Make it all voice activated!! Banking, shopping, bill paying!
Yes--very easy. I think so. Alexa recognizes peoples' individual voices, and you can switch configure Amazon accounts within a household. I seem to recall configuring purchase options when I first installed it, but I opted for everything. I even have my lights and other appliances on voice control.
