i am new to this site I am 45 and living with ADHD and CPTSD I am seeking support and knowledge also wondering if I am wrong for asking my health care provider for the right meds and will i be scrutinized like i am med seeking

You need to see a psychiatrist to get the right meds and dosages for you. It took my son 1 1/2 years before the med dosages were working.

In my ignorance I don’t know what CPSTD denotes as a condition. But more important: I sense in your note that you are feeling as if there is something “wrong” with you. NOT SO. Can medications help those who are ADHD and for whom the condition interferes with living life fully? Yes. But it is also important to know that “abnormalities” are NOT signs of wrong living or some moral weakness.
