Wow. Yes I've had this experience- and in a few cases I've had a strange feeling like I've predicted the future (by dreaming about something and having it happen).

I've come to the conclusion that my (our?) brain works so hard and so fast sometimes that I am literally able to work through every possible scenario through my head such that when one of those scenarios comes to fruition, I get a strange feeling like I've dreaming it before. I havn't been able to pinpoint exactly what is going on, but I definitely know how you feel.

I also think that's one of the reason so many very influential figures in history were found to have ADHD. We are able to process information at the speed of light, so long as our bodies are able to stay engaged in what we're focused on.

YES I've had many of these, too! When I was a kid there was sort of tongue-and-cheek saying that the women in my family must be have a touch of witchcraft because this sort of thing was very common for many of us. As an adult it's fascinating to look back and see just how prevalent the other more subtle symptoms of ADHD were in those family members (and I'll admit, ADHD being hereditary makes a little more sense to adult-me than witchcraft :)

I think like cjnolet mentioned our brains have an incredible way of synthesizing information, which can lead to some spectacular intuitional leaps. I also tend to do a lot of lucid dreaming, and I wonder if that's at all related.

Hi , i dont think lucid dream is related to our ADHD .

My mom has dreams that have to do a lot with numbers and recently she out of the blue said to my dad does Anthony (her favorite son) have a girl friend? And my was like well I’m not supposed to say anything but yeah. So even if she’s not sleeping sometimes she gets a thought that ends up true.

I have experiences like this in dreams and awake. I had a dream about liquefaction from an earthquake once and there was an earthquake the next night. I sometimes know what people are going to say or do right before the say it, even if they're a stranger and we haven't been in a conversation. I know interrupting people to finish sentences is common with ADHD and I have a bad habit of this. The instances where I feel things before they happen are kind of useless because it's usually minutes or seconds before.
