Start with a psychiatrist that has experience in helping ADHD'ers--or ask if they know any in your area. They can help get things started with your medications, what works best for you, etc.

The psychiatrist can then send you to your family practice doctor with a letter for your treatment prescription. Then you regular doctor can easily refill your prescription as needed!
