Hi folks,

So my sister is currently breastfeeding my 5 week old nephew. In the first few weeks their skin goes through so many changes,he has had a gunky eye from a blocked tear duct, baby acne, cradle cap and milk spots. For all of these things my sister has used her breast milk to help heal them and the results have been amazing. My sister is a midwife so is a big advocate of the nutricious benefits and healing powers of breast milk. I started to get curious and began researching if it may help acne. Aparently it has lauric acid in it and is antibacterial. Tonight i applied breast milk to a cotton wool pad and after using my usual facewash i introduced this to my evening cleansing routine. Will keep you posted on the results.
