Hi there,
I'm sorry you're having a rough time with your skin. In my experience it usually takes around 3 months for you to tell if the antibiotic tablets are helping. They work wonders for some and not so much for others. If after 3 months you don't see much change, then I would go back to your GP. I really hope you see some success with it.

Hiya, how are you getting on with it? x
Hi, I have exactly the same symptoms and my GP has prescribed Lymecycline capsules. I am a bit nervous to start taking the antibiotic. Today, I was offered either try antibiotics or hormones to treat my acne. Please, let me know if Lymecyclin helped you
Kind Regards
Natalya
Hi Natpak,
I have struggled with acne since I was a young teenager and am 26 now, the docs have put me on lymecycline on and off for a long while and I have found it to be very effective at clearing my acne. After a few months it clears up almost for good and I stop taking them until I next need to. I would give them ago and see if you notice any difference after a few weeks. I wish you all the best, I know the pain acne can cause!
thank you for your reply. My GP gave me two options: lymeclyn or dianette. I am going to take menopause test and then decide which one to choose. A part of me says: lymeclyn and the other one dianette.
