A lot of parents here have found success with medication, therapy, and school support. For our son, we ended up with a stimulant for impulse control and guanfacine which really helped with emotional regulation. Occupational therapy, speech, and positive parenting coaching also helped tremendously. Some kids may not process nutrients effectively and can also benefit from vitamins. Our child is one of those and benefits from methylfolate and methycobalamin among others. Is your pediatrician helpful? Sometimes a child psychiatrist or a developmental behavioral pediatrician have more experience and can be more helpful in guiding. If you are interested in nutritional approaches as well as medication, the website tacanow.org/what-we-do/fami... might be helpful.
