Granddaughter picks at zits practically undressing in public. Her mom is so use to it that she just stares and doesn't even realize what she is doing anymore.

That can be an anxiety or OCD thing. I would definitely talk to her doctor about it. If her skin is really breaking out badly maybe it’s time for a derm visit as well.

Sure sounds like anxiety. Took my grandson to a dermatologist who put him on meds and creams for his acne. It did wonders for his skin. He is also on meds for anxiety.
