Happy to be here. It’s been 2 years since since adult son’s ADHD diagnosis. Never presented as a child. Still adjusting to living with a stranger with my son’s face. Really been difficult.

it probably presented as a child, but in ways that you thought were normal. It is a genetic condition so starts at birth. However, I’ve learned that it gets worse in menopause and presents itself differently in school, work and social life.

I know someone who did not realize he had ADHD until his neice was diagnosed with it. He says no wonder he was so distracted at work all the time
