Hoping someone has good recommendations for books about ADHD that my son can read. He loves to read and recently I asked if he would be open to reading a book and learning more about how his brain works and he got excited. He's 12 but is a strong reader so I think anything in the teen range would work well. Thanks in advance!

Percy Jackson and the olympians. Percy has adhd.
Hello FitsInNoBox,
I recommend ADHD 2.0 by Dr. Hallowell & Dr. Ratey - great book about the basics of ADHD, brain chemistry, difference between males and females and how ADHD presents. It is an easy read. Dr. Hallowell has ADHD and knows that ADHDers will not read the book all the way through so you can jump around and still get very valuable information. Dr. Hallowell is extremely positive in his view of ADHD and keeps things light and interesting. You can find it on amazon or drhallowell.com
