Hello everyone! I am a mom of a child with ADHD. My son is 9 years old and I don’t really have a lot of people I talk to that can relate to the things my husband and I deal with. Although I know there is an upside, we do have a hard time when things get tough! Just looking to be able to share a safe space and also be encouraging to others as well!

welcome! Fee free to pm me if you need a vent or bounce ideas. My daughter is 9 and starting puberty. My stepkid is 15 (trans male) and I feel like I’ve been through it all already (although I’m sure I haven’t). My partner and I also have adhd and I wasn’t diagnosed until 38 (I’m 40 now).

Hello! Life is a journey and every time we think we have been through and seen it all we are always often surprised lol!! I know all of this can be difficult, with positivity and uplifting others you would be amazed at what having a community can really do for us all! Thank you for reaching out!

Indeed! I thought my stepkid prepared me for my baby (9yo now), and there’s so much new things that I’m trying hard not to take her attitude personally. Life is a roller coaster! 🎢 I would love to be part of your community and ponder some things, since we are in similar ages and situations.

welcome. Feel free to reach out anytime. I’ve gotten lots of support from this site. My kiddo is 11. 5th grade and has been on meds since 2nd grade. There are ups and downs but you’ll get through it all with support.
