Rule out a mental health condition

I heard about an ADHD evaluation meeting where the parent asked the psychologist if the child could have ASD, and the psychologist asked a few questions and quickly ruled out that possibility.

So now I wonder - if ASD can be ruled out so quickly, can ADHD be ruled out quickly too? If the answer is no, then it means that any mental health condition includes enough ADHD symptoms that justify evaluating the patient for ADHD, and that’s a strange corollary. It’s really interesting that there are no online articles that discuss this topic.

For the sake of this question, the child is 5 years old, and we can assume that the parents answered some questionnaires in advance that provide the psychologist with some background on the child.
