Fireman’s Strategy. For ADHD

My daughter was 5 when she started off with OCD then moved to stages of ODD. Today she is 18 yrs . To be honest in my personal experience there is no effective treatment or medication. The only thing we can do is get to a point of comfort & control . It’s always very challenging as the moods and their emotions are unpredictable. Most of the times mothers and siblings are the victim.

On lot research all I could gather is fireman approach and handle at the root. Calm / divert / relax the child before situation errup.

God bless all ! We are in the same boat these special angels aboard!

My 15 year old grandson is ODD and is actually tolerable with years of counseling and medications. He still has anger outbursts but does not hit and break things like he used to.
