We have an 11-year-old boy (6th grade) diagnosed with ADHD. He is taking daily medication. The transition to Middle school has proved a bit challenging for him both academically and socially. Thankfully he attends a school that has a good support network. Does anyone have any recommendations for any ADHD literature or resources that we might provide to him that are “preteen/kid friendly”?

Middle school is the worst!! When my grandson was in middle school I got him a book that had chapters about dealing with ADHD and had questions for them to answer. It was Journal of an ADHD KId and he got a lot out of it.
Check out ADHD dude on you tube. He has videos just for middle school aged kids under his dude talk section. Short and easy to listen/follow.
That’s great that your son’s school is so supportive. As already mentioned, ADHD Dude is a good resource. I would also highly recommend How To ADHD on YouTube (Jessica McCabe). The information is accurate, and it’s great for really understanding what it’s like to have ADHD. However, the presentation of these two channels is very different.
