How and when do you tell people you have adhd as an adult?

Sometimes it's necessary to tell a romantic partner or a coworker about your condition but when and how isn't clear to me.

I've read it takes people about 50 hours together to create a friendship. That might be a good gauge as when to start sharing more meaningful insights into one's personality. I think it is easier to share ADHD with others who are more than acquaintances. Just an opinion, obviously.
