Hello and Help?

We have a 13 year old son that was diagnosed with ADHD a few years ago. He is not doing as well as we would him to. He is argumentative and shows very little empathy for others. He acts entitled a lot. His social skills are lacking currently. We provide him with strategies, consequences, rewards, counseling, and soon a psychiatric nurse.

We believe he is having a more difficult time because of puberty.

We need help!

Hi, friend. Quick question first... does your son attend a school where they can help him with these special issues? Are there counselors there that can help him? I'm certainly not trained at all in this area but you know your son better than anyone else and can see the difference.

Let me know that and we'll go from there.

Thank you so much for responding. He is in a counseling group and speaks with a counseling intern weekly. However this started a few months ago. Unfortunately, he has gotten worse. I realize it will take time.
