ADHD Teen and Residential Treatment

Has anyone taken their ADHD teen to a residential treatment center for extended stays? Any suggestions for ones in South West?

If you're looking for a residential program that has been around for a long time, has consistent staff, and staff who are knowledgeable in insurance and billing, check out Stillwater Academy in Utah. Thank You so much. My son was recently hospitalized and I thought he was making progress, but I think he was just doing what he could to get out because he’s back to the same behavior. I’m going to try MST for a bit but I need to have a plan. I appreciate the information.

I've been there and am still the long road. Learning how to be accountable for actions is super hard for some kids. Good luck with this.

Thank you for the information, it’s nice to know there are others going through it too. Have you had MST and if so what did you think about it?
