As parent training is a key behavioral treatment option for ADHD, I was blown away to discover one of the leading systems (Triple P, or Positive Parenting Program) is taught FOR FREE, WITH CHILDCARE in my area (Central Ohio.) So, thought I should share, and perhaps others who live near children’s hospitals & universities / hospitals with behavioral health centers may find something similar in their area with enough digging.

The parenting practice isn’t ADHD specific, but does greatly benefit parents of children with ADHD (or not.)

We feel we do fairly well, but thought we could use refinement/ reminders, and was super excited to find this info.

Some researchers have recently been studying if using these systems while a child is very young - preschool age, might prevent or reduce the intensity of ADHD, versus waiting for treatment until after the diagnosis in elementary school.

Thank you!! I live in Central Ohio as well, knew about some of Nationwide's classes, but didn't see this one! I'm definitely going to see if I can get enrolled in the next round.

Thank you again!
