My ADHD DAUGHTER HAS HER 1st JOB INTERVIEW

So my daughter applied for McDonald’s and she was called for a job interview. I am happy for her but at the same time I am a little nervous for her. I don’t want to let her know about my insecurities. My fear is that I don’t want her to snap at anyone like she does in school with her teachers. It is so frustrating to feel so unsure about what the future holds for your child.

Exactly every parents fear but intensified with adhd concerns. You just hope and pray that you've equipped her child with the skills and coping methods to be successful. I am still trying to figure out how my son will keep a job when he can't remember to grab his coat when it's freezing outside.

My ADHD do daughter got and quit so many jobs in her life I wouldn't be able to count them. As she got older and matured she did much better. She has a really good job with an insurance agency now that she has had for 2 years which is a pretty long period of time for her.

When she was in her teens most jobs would last a month at the most.

Hope for the best but don't despair if it doesn't last
