This must be so hard! Good thing you enlisted the help of his teacher. Does he have an IEP? That might help. Xoxo

Poor guy. Definitely call his doctor and discuss his behavior. He’s obviously struggling with this situation given his actions, I would also reach out to the schools guidance counselor to help with the bully. Does he take meds to him with his condition?

I did speak with the counselor ,she was very positive and got all his info,

For meds we tried 4 and they made him really sick, last one was adderal Rx,...

Trying out natural but so far not looking good....

I will see Dr this coming week to talk about options.......

Glad to hear. Definitely recommend working with a child psychiatrist to help find the right meds if your not already. My son didn’t do well on XR meds but the short acting ones help a lot. It took us 3 yrs and testing lots of meds to find the right ones. It’s a journey so don’t give up because once you find the right one it will make a world of difference for your son.

I am so sorry for your troubles. I can relate to the many sleepless nights you must be having. If you haven't already done so, I would suggest talking to your pediatric psychiatrist for medication adjustment. He has a serious health issue if he is biting all his nails and skin. He should also be seeing a counselor for his anxiety, since many psychiatrists these days dont have the time for talk therapy or behavior therapy. If your psychiatrist and counselor are not helpful, then definitely search for someone else. I have had many counselors and not all were helpful.

Yes ,I just resigned my dream job to focus 100% on son,he was seeing a counselor but did not see any improvement, I do think he needs a behavioral therapist, called some numbers to get an appointment..will follow up Monday.
