Hello parents,

Does anyone know about Disney World Disability Access Pass ?

I heard that kids with disabilities including ADHD are eligible for one , which allows the families return for the rides. Has anyone tried this ?

Thank you

Not sure if ADHD qualifies but if it did you basically skip the line, but not really the wait. You'd go to the ride, get a pass to return depending on how long the wait is currently ( if it reads 20 min wait you'd be given a pass to return 20 min later, if not later). We do Disney all the time and have never used the pass. With a lot of planning and use of the fastpass system we barely spend any time in line anyways. Hope this helps some.

We’ve done this at Disneyland in CA. It’s great! My 11 yo cannot wait in line, she bumps into people constantly and will say things. They’re very accommodating all you have to do is explain what they do and why they can’t wait a long time.

From their site:

The theme parks offer a wide variety of great shows and rides for you and your party to experience, and accessing these can be done in several ways including the use of standard queues, Disney FASTPASS Service and a Disability Access Service, as well as other accommodations based on individual service needs.

In particular, the Disability Access Service is designed for Guests who are unable to tolerate extended waits at attractions due to a disability. This service allows Guests to schedule a return time that is comparable to the current queue wait for the given attraction.

To learn more about the Disability Access Service—in addition to other accommodations that might be available based on the Guest with a cognitive disability’s individual service needs—please visit the Guest Relations Lobby at the theme parks.
