You found an online community or go to the CHADD website and you should be able to local chapters in your area that you can visit in person.
CHADD is wonderful. If you are able to make it to their annual conference in November, you will find so many answers and also so much support from mothers who are going through the exact same things you’re probably going through. I’m not a parent but the majority of the people who attend seem to be parents. My favorite thing about all the CHADD conferences I’ve been to has been the unwavering support from complete strangers. It’s so nice to walk into a place filled with people who understand our daily struggles and don’t judge us for any of the things we’d be judged for in the real world. The experts and all the people you meet might turn out to be a new Friend before the conference is over. You will be heard, validated, appreciated, supported, and most of all you will leave with so many new tools to improve you and your family’s quality of life when you get home.
ImpactADHD Parent Community is a Facebook group. It’s founders are presenters at the annual CHADD conference,
I'm just curious I went to the website impactADHD on FB, Why do they have to approve your membership and What information will they use to approve my membership?
