New here and not sure which way to go

Hi! My 8 yr old daughter was diagnosed with ADHD, OCD, mild dyslexia and anxiety. The diagnosis was in place as of November 2017 but the school wanted to wait for her neurospysch eval instead of doing a Child Study team/IEP. Finally saw the neuropsych, got the report and they have quite a few recommendations for the school. The Vice Principal had told me that they wouldn't put any assistance in place until next year anyway. She has been on Focalin XR 15 mg and doing relatively well and has improved in school and behaviorally at home. They are now recommending Zoloft and CBT for her anxiety., as well.

My biggest question is this....we are currently in NJ but will be relocating to Florida in the next few months. Do I provide the report to her school here so it's documented or does it matter since they wouldn't put any assistance in place until next year? Does it need to be in place here for it to transfer to Florida schools?

Thank you so much and I apologize for the lengthy post!

I think it’s best to have documentations of everything but I have never had personal experience. Hopefully someone else can chime in. Best of luck in relocating!
