Hello I have a 9 year old son that has adhd and he has been diagnosed when he was younger and since then he has been in a world of trouble with fighting, anger management , cursing, being aggressive towards other students etc... Im so tired of crying and going through this with him and I know he can't help it because he has this disorder and the doctors want to keep dosing him up with medication and the therapist they just want to play games with him and not try to get to the bottom of this problem like im so stressed out about all this... I just don't know what else to do i have punished him numerous of times and disapline him numerous of times to where now he is immune to the whole punishment and whooping. He has been in, in home intensive care he has been on probation with the law and now cps has been involved twice already over his misbehavior. Can somebody help me i can't take it anymore😢😢😢😢

Hello, is he on any medication at all? Sometimes playing around with the medication and doseages can help.
Has anyone considered Pathological Demand Avoidance with him? I've a friend whose sone is similar and now diagnosed with PDA. He is in a special school which has residential facilities so he can board occasionally if he wants to. Very very small classes....only five in each class...and a state school not private.
Are you getting any support from social services? At the very least I think you should qualify for a Carers Assessment although you may have to insist upon this.
It is very very hard work when they are children as their brains are not mature enough to make rational and logical decisions about risk taking. Add in ADHD and it can be a disaster.
