Frustrated

Hi am new to this group. I am a single mom of A 14 year old with a.d.h.d. He has been on meds. From the age of 5. It seams when he hit puberty he began having anger issues. Is this common?

It is very common i know alot of 14 year olds with adhd that find it hard to regulate their emotions so they show their frustration through anger and also get annoyed very easily.

I have no idea if this will help because my son is only nine years his doctor tried natural with no medication he has ADHD doctor is trying coffee and tea with caffeine so far so good any type of behavior issue my son do not express any outbursts his only problem is focusing in school that's it

Just curious does the caffeine have the opposite affect on ADHD children? How does caffeine help them?

Yes it does caffeine will make us normal brain Awake for children with ADHD it's slow down to Brain so they can focus better

I have an almost 13 year old also having anger issues. He's on Focalin XR for years for his ADHD. Recently added Seroquel to try to help with the anger which is doctor thinks it could be caused by depression
