When will there be more effort on behalf of Local Education and National Education authorities understanding the issues and needs of our children and their life with ADHD?

I don't think there is any wider impetus to better understand ADHD. Individual school and teachers can do a great job but are fighting severe budget cuts. And this is against a background of people believing ADHD isn't real or just an excuse for bad parenting. The medical profession needs to be better at supporting ADHD patients. When doctors don't believe in ADHD how can the public and therefore how can the government justify spending more in this area? We have to breakdown unhelpful stereotypes.
