Hi everyone
I have posted a few times before, so I don't want to repeat myself! To give you a bit of background information - diagnosed with Endo 2014 after suffering for many years, have undergone 3 operations specifically for Endo, but had a few others that are kind of related to Endo, been on every type of contraceptive going and even been forced into the menopause. After my most recent surgery, I was also diagnosed with Adenomyosis. My treatment options at present are incredibly limited - I am unable to have any form of contraception due to something in my mothers past medical history that was recently identified and we share a genetic link (basically puts me at risk of serious complications), I feel I am too young to have a hysterectomy and I really don't want to go through the menopause right now as I am getting married in 2 weeks time.
Anyway, my pain since my last operation has gone through the roof. I am struggling with work, social activities and on super bad days I struggle to walk. The pain has become constant, my Endo belly is massive and I am waking up a few times in the night in agony. My GP has worked with my employer to try and limit my duties at work but it is not something that they can consistently do due to the nature of my job. I am on a lot of medication but nothing seems to cut it. I have a TENs machine, use ice and heat too.
Does anyone have any advice? I am getting married in 2 weeks time and really don't want to be taking all my pain relief as I won't be able to have a drink, and I am worried I will experience side effects like drowsiness and sickness, which I occasionally get. I don't even feel I can do anything on my wedding night (if you get my drift!)
In desperate need of advice from my adenosisters!
Thanks
