It's a lovely day here in the West Country - just right for a good walk. But I won't be going out (even though I REALLY want to)! Last night just before dusk I decided to have a cuppa in my little garden - one thing led to another and before I knew it I was digging up weeds! OMG this morning I'm aching in muscles I never knew I had! Lol!?! If they've loosened up throughout the day I'll have a little meander this evening, but in the meantime it's watching Roland Garros for me! I hope everyone is having a happy weekend! x

Ouch! Keeping moving gently is generally the best therapy. But can definitely relate!

It's just so frustrating!?! I'm so sorry you suffer too - but at the same time it's comforting to know I'm not alone!;)

Keep at it, kay50. You’ve always been so encouraging. We are trying to spruce up our vegetable patch. It is likely to be a productive but not a cost-effective pursuit. Water is getting to be very expensive here. Our 2 peach trees are laden with fruit. We’ll see in 4-5 weeks if the squirrels leave a few for us to taste.

Hi svgeeks - thanks for your kind words! It's been years since I grew veggies - as you say, loads of work and not cheap, but oh the satisfaction of eating your own produce! Good luck with your efforts!
