I know the tech guys are trying to iron out the glitches with the app, sorry you are having a hard time with it. On the forum, here, we work on the motivation and emotional support side of helping people to get fit, unfortunately apart from pointing you in the right direction to log an issue we can't sort out any issues.

Darn George. That stinks. You can try another app to see if you like it better, there's plenty that track your steps and mileage, and you know if you're walking briskly or not. My other half was using Googlefit for awhlie last year, and I know some folks have used Map my Walk. Feel free to come around here as often as you like - we're here for all walking discussions and support, app or no app.
