I Just love walking.

I love walking but my problem is my lower back problems which at 10,000 steps my back goes very stiff. It also affects my upper thighs which also get very stiff, any hints or tips on getting some relief. I can usually walk 8 to 10 miles and I feel this problem is stopping me enjoying something I love doing.

It could just be you need more time to get used to that distance (step count). Our bodies need to adjust to an increase of distance or speed. Try a nice hot bath and see if that works, also have a look at the NHS Stregnth and Flex series to Help as well.

We aLso have a forum on here.

Hi All, I got a step counter last week. I aim for 10,000 steps a day. I generally do 12000 - 15000 though!Quite unexpected! I do the majority of my steps at work, I then dance around the house to increase the number if I feel it is a bit low!
