I'm interrested if anyone has swallowing difficulties or a thing called laryinospasm (luh-ring-o-spasm). It seems to be a new thing that I am getting. Write back please this is just one more delightful issue,. Your vocal cords seize up and you can't swallow. Thanks, keep strong guys.

Hi Spooky. I don’t have this problem, but the neuro physiotherapist always (I’ve met her twice!) asks if I have any problems swallowing. Sorry to hear you’ve got it. Can your neuro team suggest anything to help?
I have that problem. Chew each bite of food well, and drink a swallow of liquid after each bite, and sit straight up to eat or drink. Specialist took care of me 30 days in physical therapy. I still choak on nuts and chips easily and when I eat anything.
I also wake up with a very deep voice, which lasts hours. I had radiation 2 years ago for the acoustic tumor in lining of nerve leading to eyesite, hearing and vocal cords. My eyesite is double and profound hearing loss with AC.
Hope this helps.
