Like whitefishbay, mine was diagnosed by an MRI.
Spotted mine on CT and confirmed with MRI all at Luton and Dunstable hospital within 24 hours
Thank you. I had a CT scan but didn't show anything and I am worried that if not offered an MRI scan it will be missed
Facial numbness on the day prompted me to go to casualty thinking I was having a stroke . In hindsight had developed text book symptoms over years prior to diagnosis including reduced hearing on one side and reduced balance.
It is better to get an MRI because sometimes they don’t see it on the CAT scan
