Hi my consultant rang me today with results... No AN but the radiology wants me to have a further scan on my arteries ... I was in shock so didn't ask the consultant any questions 🙄🔫... Does anyone know what they may be looking for or what he may of seen ??? Has anyone else been given the all clear with tumor then had another scan ??? And will they use contrast... Sorry for all the questions, guess I should off asked him 🙄

Could be many things but blood vessel with atheroma...cholestrol stuff may need spring cleaning. Try not to worry too much until you know what you are dealing with or you will be jumping from one gues to another x

its so difficult isnt it when youre in shock and cant think to ask while youre there ...there are several things it could be hard not to speculate but try to just wait and see ....its good theyre investigating further ! good luck

im still waiting.....my mri was 6 weeks ago last fri so i waited till yesterday to ring to allow the 6 weeks id been told and still nothing at my gps so i rang the mri dept and they said its still waiting to be reported !!!! She said shell nudge the secretary....but no clue when to try again now ....i can only assume alls ok with such a wait but id still like to know n hope the gp will do some other tests n not just let it go...read so much saying it is often hard to pick things up etc so we need thorough investigating ......id pretty much ignored it till reading on the net and then the gp sending me for an mri when i eventually saw her then suddenly i realised there can be some not so good reasons behind it so want to feel all things have been covered !

ahhh now im replying to myself haha my doctors just rang with an appt to discuss the scan results tomorrow....they sure got their act together but now im bricking it xx

I personally think it's terrible that you have had to wait so long 😞 especially when you have symptoms and there's something clearly wrong 😞 even if they could tell you all is well would be something, I thought it bad enough waiting just over a week God knows how you have coped with this , personally I would keep ringing the secretary.. Good luck and keep me updated xxxx

thanks.....once i knew the wait would be long i managed to shut it out my head until the time was almost up lol then i was anxious

......just after i posted my doctors rang with with an appt to discuss results tomorrow.. that put me in a panic but im giving myself a talking to.... will get back to u after tomorrow ! everythings crossed x

we lost our internet for 24 hours so only just getting back to u.......MRI was normal ! she thinks next step is CT with contrast n referral to ENT to explore all options ...so so far so good x

Hi bev so happy for you that MRI was good 😊 my consultant rang me and said MRI is normal but the radiologist has requested a ct angiogram to look at the blood vessels near my middle ear 🙄 that's all I know, if he's seen something or just checking I don't know... Wish they could tell us more, this happened exactly the same with my sister and she was diagnosed with a small acoustic neuroma ... It's very hard not to think of anything else xxxxx

we seem to be treading a similar path here ..i think its mostly blood vessels theyll be looking at for me ...no clue how soon anything will happen so putting it out of my head as much as i can for now ....it must be extra hard to not over think after ur sisters experience.... keep strong n keep me posted xx

Well it is ,my symptoms are so different yet so similar if you know what I mean.... The secret is to keep really busy... When I'm stressed I clean and clean 😂 put it this way I can't spend the next eight weeks

with this wrecking me, if it's something then I guess I will have to deal with it then .... Easier said than done xxx I will keep you posted xx
