I was given this advice to cope with anxiety

When your worrying about something that 'happened in the past' and your afraid it might happen again, just :

'Imagine a chest of drawers, put the worry inside and SLAM the draw shut.

I've been using this small tip for months now and my goodness, it works for me, and if it dares to enter my mind again, I just repeat it. I've found it very therapeutic.

Have you any tips?

This is great and I'm so glad it works for you.

When I'm at the ocean I'm able to visualize letting everything go out into the ocean. I've been doing that since I was young.

Now I know my anxiety comes from my younger self. If I'm feeling anxious I nurture my inner child.
