Help to get through night

I have been having a difficult time to get through the night as they seem to be the hardest. I have been feeling lonely that's true but then if somebody tries to talk to me I am not interested, not on calls not on messages not in person. I have messages from weeks ago still unopened. My friends text me to meet but i just give some reason and avoid it because I m too tired to meet or talk to people. I am lonely but I just like to spend time with myself.

Hi Jenna

You’re feeling lonely, but it seems like you also don’t feel well enough to see people. Do you have any friends who are able to just come and watch TV with you, accepting that you are feeling low and can’t chat. (Were in lockdown in the UK and can’t do that.)

You haven’t said if you are depressed, if you’re having trouble sleeping or if it’s the long winter evenings. If you can, try doing something you enjoy every day. Also, healthy eating, fresh air and exercise - I know the last thing you feel like doing when you’re feeling low. But even when it doesn’t make you feel better straight away, you can give yourself a pat on the back for trying, and then try again the next day. And at this time of year, most people are low in vitamin D which causes low energy and depression., so that could be something to explore.

Being depressed is agonising, but better times will come. 💕

Hey Jenna, seems like there are a couple of things you are mentioning here with the getting through the night and the loneliness. Are these connected to one another somehow? And are these new or different for you or have you been dealing with them for a while now?
