I feel like I cannot sit still for more than two seconds. I find my self opening my phone and clicking the same apps for 10 seconds, and when there's nothing to check I turn it off and realize I was doing nothing before that. So I do it again. I smoke weed everyday and it causes me to feel paranoid, I'm not sure if it has anything to do with my anxious feelings. But I just feel like if I'm not listening to music and being distracted I feel like my body starts to heat up and I can't stop tapping my foot for example.

Help..

Hello jahigh15 and welcome to our Community.
I am not sure whether you live in the UK or if you have received any help from your GP or MH services regarding your anxiety.
If not, I would suggest that you make an appointment with your GP to talk about how your anxiety/paranoia affects you. It may help to write this down beforehand and take it with you when you see your GP. Your GP will have seen others with similar anxieties/paranoia and will know how best to help you. Do you feel able to take someone to your appointment with you, maybe a close friend who you trust.
Why do you continue to smoke weed every day when it makes you paranoid? It could be making your anxiety worse too.
Are you able to distract yourself from repetitive behaviours by perhaps going for a walk in the fresh air. Perhaps several short walks each day when you feel your anxiety levels increasing. Then look at increasing the time of your walks, maybe weekly, at a pace you feel comfortable with.
Have a look at the section entitled 'PINNED POSTS' at the bottom of this page and choose 'RESOURCES UK.' If you would like to talk to someone today then I would suggest you contact SANE, their telephone number is under 'RESOURCES UK.' Anxiety UK also have a helpline open Monday to Friday, their telephone number is in the same place.
I hope this is helpful jahigh15, keep posting and let us know how you get on.
