HI' just came across this forum whilst researching depression'.I'am 41 and have had severe depression in my 20's.I went to the doctors they just told me it will pass and give me anti depressants which just made me feel worse'. i decided not to take the medication.instead i joined the gym and participated in a lot of sport activities. Ie football and swimming .I Don't know how I 'cant really explain it" but whilst i was at a football session got a rush of Adrenalin all the way threw my body .and the fog in my head just cleared.I was very skeptical that sport can cure depression.but it worked for me.and with all due respect sport is not for everyone but it was my medicine.just thought I would share this with you .
