Hello Divalily ,

I understand completely. I was a very nervy mother when my son was a toddler?

Have you tried chamomile tea? It be very relaxing ? If I am feeling stressed i have a cup during the day or before bed to help me sleep.

I used to drink some before a driving lesson to take the edge off worry.

There is also a breathing technique which is good for stress and anxiety. It is called 4 - 7 - 8 breathing. You can look it up on you tube or google? It can used to relax and sleep better too.

You breathe in for 4 seconds then hold your breath for 7 seconds then breathe out for 8 seconds. Then you repeat the whole cycle 3 times. At first , its recommended you do this twice a day for a while? or when you want to calm down.

I think its supposed to promote calm and relaxation? And its free.

I am not an expert. I read about this breathing technique in a magazine in my doctors surgery then found it online.

It has helped me in the past.

I hope this helps you,

Best wishes.
