U R IN THE OVER WEIGHT CATEGORY. U HAVE TO REDUCE ATLEAST 24 KGS. START MODERATE SPEED WALKING FOR FEW MINS EVERYDAY TO MAKE IT A HABIT . THEN U CAN INCREASE SPEED AND DURATION(30 MINS/DAY) . WATCH UR DIET, AVOID SWEETS,SNACKS, CHOCOLATES N ICECREAMS. EAT MORE VEGETABLES N FRUITS. EAT BALANCED DIET.

The trouble is ..this is all a good idea in general for good health. But specifically for losing weight is simply to eat less. Exercise has a lot less effect than you would think - 100 grams of milk chocolate is about the same number of calories as hiking for an hour!

The rest helps considerably in health but to lose weight per se is simply - eat less!

Sorry!

Hi Indian007,

Your ideal weight according to your height should be 65 kgs .As you said you have abdominal obesity *fat around your belly,so called tummy*.Well that much speaks about the health scenario in India.

Did you know 65% of urban Indians and 32% of rural Indians are either overweight or obese.- Texas A&M University and AIIMS Collaborative study under Prof.Anoop Mishra

and 54% of men have abdominal obesity.

Studies have further shown that if you have a good nutritious healthy breakfast ,you can readily reduce many problems and also prevent risk of Type 2 Diabetes and CVD .

Also a healthy breakfast in the morning can help you stay in a good mood and stay energetic through out the day !

Now tell me what do you normally have for breakfast ?

Not what you're looking for?
